Destination BC’s UK team attended World Travel Market in November to meet with trade partners and key media to promote visitation to BC. In addition, the team also met with 38 tour operator partners to discuss market status, new itinerary ideas and joint marketing opportunities, focusing on geographical dispersion to regions and areas in BC with capacity. On the media side, the team met with travel media and freelance journalists from The Guardian, Daily Mail, BA Highlife, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, and Love Exploring.
